Es setzt seinen Focus auf Kommunikation für Krankheitsbekämpfung, nachhaltige Entwicklung und Governance, jedoch wird auch der Einfluss von Zensur und anderen Restriktionen erwähnt: "Copyright and censorship policies restrict the flow of information, both within and across national borders. Vested interests, public as well as private, seek control of ICTs for their own purposes."
